Am I addicted to Porn?
Hello everyone,
This is Blake here with Peers Against Pornography and I just wanted to inform everyone that this will be an exciting week for us. We are getting everything finalized so that we can bring ourselves out in the open and start doing what we do best, provide support and guidance. One of the questions that people often ask themselves is, “how do I know if I am addicted to porn?”, or “how do I know if someone I know is addicted”. Now, if you search the web about this matter, they will all give you a self survey that you can take that leaves with nothing. There is no way that you can self evaluate yourself accurately and we believe that this will not help motivate people to make changes in their lives.
So how do I know if I am addicted to porn? Well Peers AP has a challenge for everyone and through this challenge you will be able to accurately determine how dependent you are on pornography. Peers AP makes a challenge to every being that surfs the internet, especially those that find our website or those who feel pornography is not addictive. We challenge you to look at abstain from porn for one whole month. This means do not look at softcore images, hardcore images, or even women in lingere. Do not look at it, stay away from it, and have nothing to do with it for one whole month.
For some this will be quite easy and they will think nothing of it, and for others they will do the challenge for a day and think that it is nonsense and go back to their porn. Imagine if you would, taking the time out of your life to undertake our challenge and you find that it is difficult and hard to stop looking at porn. Say that as time goes on the harder it gets and the more you think about pornography, do you think that you would find this out from taking a silly survey? For some it may seem easier but they look at pornography 2 or 3 times a week. Does that mean that you are not addicted?
Level 5 – This is where you are enslaved by pornography. You spend 8 to 10 hours a day viewing pornography. That you lose track of the time and you forget to take care of simple things like personal hygiene. Your work performance is low and you have no friends; your life basically is nonexistant. This is the worse level of addiction and it will probably take a theorpist or someone to help this person gain his or her life back.
Level 4 – This is where your mind is constantly thinking about sex and porn. You are constantly looking for more and you spend 6 to nine hours a day. You may still do activities with friends, but you will most likely miss them so that you can look at porn. People on this level will spend most their free time looking at porn, but it isn’t so bad that they cannot do regualar things.
Level 3 – This is where I believe most people are with their porn addictions. They look at porn often and whenever they can, however they don’t go out of their way or cancel appointments so they can look at porn. Sex is constantly on the your mind however you can still be productive. You will definently find time to view porn that day, but it is usually at night or some other time when you usually don’t have things going on. People at this level will watch porn up to 6 hours a day.
Level 2 – This is the casual porn watcher and someone who enjoys looking at it but will not waist time looking for it. People in this category will not notice if they miss viewing porn one day or even week for that matter. As they go about their business they will feel the urge and will seek it out but porn isn’t a daily thing for them.
Level 1 – Porn really isn’t an issue for these people. This level is usually people how haven’t seen porn in several month or even years. They think about porn once in a while but they choose not to view it because they are not concerned with it anymore. If you have ever been addicted or even exposed to porn, then you will never be able to attain level 0 and when you start viewing porn again you immediately are moved to level 2. Peers AP desires that everyone can attain this level and stay at this level, which is the closest think to level 0 that there is.
Level 0 – This is a rare one because to be at level 0, you are someone who has not been exposed to porn and you are not familiar with what it is. They don’t think about porn because they don’t know what it is. They may of heard of it but they haven’t been exposed to it.
This scale will hopefully help you visualize where you are in terms of porn addiction and where you want to be in terms of porn recovery.

First off do you have credit history? Are you wanting a credit card to establish credit? I was looking at the page you have on there and I would not personally use that card. A lot of credit card companies like this one know that you don’t have credit history so they will try to lure you in with guaranteed approval and low introductory rates. However, this is for a limited time, then the rates go up and you will be paying so much in interest that you will not be able to pay it off. Don’t do it whatever you do. Try and find a prepaid credit card to have someone put your name on theirs. This will establish credit without worring about interest rates. If you have to have a credit card Capital One has one for people looking to establish credit. Be careful because it is easy to forget how much money you really have.
